Our mission as members of the Las Vegas HS Choirs is to develop a musical community, where we can attain harmony, balance, and blend with each piece of music by first establishing positive, trusting relationships with each other. We believe that by creating this safe atmosphere will build and strengthen our performances by encouraging risk, growth, persistence, and a focus on and commitment to excellence.

Current Class Projects
In our choirs, we are starting to prepare for auditions for Madrigal Chamber Singers and Spectrum for next year! We also have a very special guest choir called Fusion coming to perform at the beginning of this month! In the meantime, Madrigal Chamber Singers has still been preparing for our upcoming Festival performance, and we're super excited to finally share our performance with you at the end of this month! Students are also still working on their parody projects for the upcoming Spring Concert, and many students have done a great job! Overall, there is so many good things happening in our classes, and we cannot wait to share them with you and our future wildcats!
Choir Banquet
At the end of the school year, we will host a banquet here at Las Vegas High School for all Choir students and families to attend. Here, we will award all students for their hard work and specific accomplishments throughout the year!

The banquet will take place tentatively on May 9 from 5:00-8:00 PM in the Las Vegas HS Cafeteria, and the award ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 PM. More details coming soon.

Spring Concert
On May 13, we will have our final choir concert of the year with everyone in our program---our Spring Choir Concert. We will be holding this in the Frank Brusa Theater at LVHS, and students will need to come wearing a special pastel-colored polo shirt. The color is their choice so long as it fits the spring color theme. They may wear jeans, shorts, or a skirt that is at least knee-length and matches well with the polo with clean tennis shoes. No sweatpants or pajama pants will be permitted.

Graduation
​
Our seniors are graduating soon on May 28, 2025! Our choir students will be performing during graduation, so we will be rehearsing the Alma Mater with the rest of performing arts as well as our National Anthem. More details regarding the rehearsal schedule will follow.
For graduation, all students singing with us will need to wear red and black formal business attire. Call time at Graduation will be around 6:30 PM for the sake of warming up and potentially helping with any additional set-up.
